Rumors circulated that Chris Brown was being sought after by the police responding to a 911 call from an unidentified woman claiming the singer assaulted her.

Now that the dust cloud is beginning to clear, it looks like the unidentified woman who made the call is none other than Rihanna herself.

According to reports, the police responded to a domestic violence incident in Los Angeles and saw the victim with obvious injuries. Chris Brown was no where in sight.

Chris Brown apparently turned himself in to authorities for his involvement.

The couple began dating late 2007 and was regarded as one of the more stable relationships in showbiz.
