Here’s a new twist to Will Smith’s Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song.
It actually sounds really good in a folk style. Kay Pettigrew did an amazing job with this classic theme and making it her own. Her voice is very soothing and kind of reminded me of Regina Spektor.
Listening to this version, you wouldn’t think that this song was supposed to be funny. It would only be a folk song about violence in the ‘hood’.
