Have you ever wanted a guitar that can handle everything? Spanish Guitar? Classical?

The people from MIT has developed the Chameleon guitar for that specific purpose. The guitar can be made into whatever guitar you want by changing the soundboards.

The interchangeable soundboards each have electronics and sensors that pickup vibration. They are also made of different type of woods and bracing to create different tones. The electronics are also manipulated by a computer to produce different sounds effects based on size and shape of the guitar. The guitar can mimic any guitar sound or even other instruments.
