Fender fans would love the Fender Stratocaster Coffee Table design for their home or studio. This table is officially licensed by Fender and built to Fender design specifications. Made of solid maple, it’s designed to resemble the original Fender headstock design. Guitar Center sells one for $250 but the color is slightly different and might be made out of a different type of wood.

This week’s theme is Rock on American Idol Top 4 and I am happy to see they invited Slash to be the guest mentor.

Adam Lambert sang “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin.

He was the first one to perform and set the bar really high. Adam rocked it out and all the judges loved him.

Randy told him he should make an album with Slash. Kara said Adam is a rock god. Simon said the only problem was that nobody could ever top that.

This is what Adam needs to pursue after the show, a rock album.

Two things that are important to me are my guitars and my video games. These are the things that take up most of my time. So I got excited when I saw the Nintendo Guitar. I can’t even count how many hours I have wasted playing Mario and Zelda during the Nintendo days so this console really holds a special place in my heart.

If this thing played well I would definitely take this onstage with me.

Whoa - a 16-bit guitar! This is the future.

For all the Lego geeks out there, here’s something that might tickle your fancy-a Lego guitar.

I don’t know if this can actually be played or if the neck can withstand the pressure but it is nice to look at.

The good thing about this guitar is if you get bored with the design you know you can stick a few blocks in there to change it up a bit.

Here is a fully functioning Fender Bass Guitar Hero (PS2) guitar made of LEGO created by the same guy who made the LEGO Gibson Explorer controller.

The new Semi-hollow electric Taylor T3/B is in the cover of Premier Magazine April 2009 issue.

“The T3/B is not a ‘jack of all trades, master of none,’ but rather a well-thought-out instrument that plays great, sounds fantastic and looks incredible,” reviewer Steve Ouimette declares early on. He loved the “comfortable and fast-playing” neck, which he says “combined the best of all neck shapes into one, and lent itself to just about any style of playing.”

I am really excited for the Taylor T3 and I am hoping that it gets the mention it deserves on every publications.  Check out the story on Taylor Guitar News.

From luthier Lou Reimuller, comes Teenar, the teen girl guitar!

I know this guitar came out a while back but I just had the urge to post about it again.

Both a companion and an instrument, you will never be lonely again when you have Teenar.

This amazing guitar is actually a vintage mannequin turned into an electric guitar.

The only catch is that if you are with Teenar you know that there are strings attached - PUN!

We all know that in order for anyone to be called a rockstar they have to graduate guitar-spin school.

There aren’t many rules in guitar spinning. In fact, there is only one rule: Don’t drop your guitar.

If you want to learn how to do it right, just watch this video and make sure that you do the exact opposite.

Pop/Country singer Jewel injured her knees while rehearsing for Dancing with the Stars but confirmed that she will not back down from the competition.

According to her blog, the singer suffered tendinitis on both knees while practicing for the show but her doctor says that she will be okay for next week.

Jewel says “Don’t count me out as I am in this for the long run.”

I’m sure Jewel will be a great addition to the show.

Organizers confirmed that the British band Oasis canceled their China tour.

The band was scheduled to perform in Beijing and Shanghai in April and would have marked the band’s first show in China.

The ticket sales were halted February 28 and refund information would be announced later.

There was no explanation given for the cancellation of the shows.

The group is currently on a world tour promoting their latest album “Dig Out Your Soul.”

Last month, Oasis wrote on their official website that they were excited to announce their first ever shows in mainland China as part of their world tour.
