Karla and Jonathan dance to a hip hop routine by Dave Scott.
They are playing the characters of smooth gangsta’s. It wasn’t gangsta enough for everybody. Karla did okay with what she was given but Jonathan kinda sucked. The routine was meh. They are in trouble.
The show started off with the group dance choreographed by Mia Michaels.
Here are your top 18 dancers dancing to Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground”:
The bottom 3 couples for the night are:
Ashley and Kupono
Jason and Caitlin
Max and Kayla
The people are basing their votes off of Wednesday’s performances. All of the bottom 3 couples (except for Max and Kayla) did not do a great job on their routines. Both of them Shane Sparks routines. I think Shane’s been hanging around with America’s Best Dance Crew too long.
Max and Ashley were eliminated!
Both of them are really good dancers. The judges should have cut Kupono instead of Max.
Kupono and Ashley dance to a Hip Hop routine by Shane Sparks.
It was alright. Too bad both routines Shane Sparks choreographed this week sucked. We miss Napoleon and Tabitha. To be fair, I thought Ashley did good.
Karla and Jonathan perform a contemporary routine by a new choreographer Stacey Tookey from SYTYCD Canada.
I really thought they were going to suck but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought Karla did awesome. Mary Murphy loved it. I guess dancing to an Academy award winning song helped thanks to Kris Allen.
The judges loved it. I am happy for Asuka and Vitolio for making a comeback after a mediocre performance last week. They might not have a lot of fans but hopefully that routine earned them a spot for next week.
