One of the most exciting event for Taylor Guitar fans is the Annual Taylor Guitars Roadshow.

Last September 22nd, Taylor Guitars stopped by Chicago’s Tivoli Theater to promote their new guitars as well as to get to know Taylor enthusiasts in Illinois.

Taylor’s clinician Wayne Johnson was there to perform and demo the guitars.

The “petting zoo” part where people get to test out the different Taylor Guitars. I would love to try these babies out with the my favorite acoustic guitar pickup - the expression system.  Wish I had a new Travel Guitar so that I could go to these roadshows and jam with the peeps.

Taylor has come up with some really cool and unique offerings for their 35th anniversary! One guitar I’m really interested in is the XXXV 9-String Guitar.

This is for those who are into the 12-string guitar but does not want to go all the way. The XXXV 9-string brings out the best of both the 6 and 12 strings. The D and G strings are doubled an octave apart, while the B is simply doubled.

I am really interested to see how this would sound! I think this would make for a really good recording guitar!

The awesome Taylor T3/B (Bigsby) was recently reviewed by Music Players Inc. It earned a 3.6/4.0 stars to get the WIHO (Wish I Had One) Award that it truly deserves.

“We test-drove our Taylor T3/B through a Bogner Ecstasy, which provided an excellent clean tone without robbing the guitar of its true colors. The T3/B delivered everything you would expect from a Taylor.”

They even confirmed my observation that it’s the offspring of the T5 and the Solidbody.

This video required a bit more to produce compared to the first one. They had to hire some extras, rent a crane for an overhead shot, and a few other elements. Thanks to all the people who volunteered their time and talent to produce this video.

Taylor Guitars recently unveiled their new limited edition Serj Tankian T5 guitar (STSM-T5). The new acoustic electric guitar features a sapele body, maple top, and a glossy finished black stain. Dave Carroll, who created the internet sensation “United Breaks Guitars” came to the Taylor Guitars factory in San Diego on Monday, July 20.
