Randy thought it was a little too theatrical but still good. Simon said it’s the best entrance of the season.
Adam sang the Muse version of this song and thought he did a good job. This guy definitely has the vocal skills to win this competition. In fact, I’ve never heard of anyone like him. He is going to win this I’m almost sure of it.
American Idol Adam Lambert sings “If I Can’t Have You.”
This is his second disco song on stage so this time he did a completely different take.
He turned a disco song into a love song. Very mellow. It did not have a lot of the crazy vocals that Adam usually does.
Randy thinks Adam is a hot one tonight. Kara thought it was brilliant and called him a mix of Saturday Night Live and Clark Kent. Paula babbled something about feeling the pain. Yes, she is weird. Simon loved it and thought it was so original and his vocals immaculate.
I liked it. Definitely miss Adam’s crazy vocals but it was a nice and sweet rendition.
Golden boy Adam Lambert sang “Born to be Wild” on the American Idol Top 7 show. Quentin finds Adam exciting and called him the real deal! Adam Lambert rocked the house once again. Paula loved it. Simon liked it but not as much as last week’s Mad World. I thought his vocals were excellent as usual especially that scream towards the end. I don’t know how he survived that. I was with Simon on this one, I didn’t care much for all the screaming on this performance.
American Idol Top 8 frontrunner Adam Lambert has done it again ladies and gentlemen. He sang “Mad World” and everyone was crazy about him.
He was the last performance of the night but definitely the best!
The show run out of time once again so the comments were cut short. In Adam’s case, only Simon Cowell got the chance to give his praises and I believe for the first time in the history of the show - got up and gave Adam a standing ovation.
The American Idol contestants are free to choose whatever song they want this week and our homeboy Adam Lambert delivered another great performance. He sang Play That Funky Music and it again showcased his powerful vocals.
This guys is really fun to watch. He is probably the only contestant that gives such an exciting performance and continues to amaze us everytime he is on the stage. I am always curious to see what he will do next.
Pictures of American Idol front runner Adam Lambert on VoteForTheWorst.com kissing a guy.
Some of the pictures you can’t tell if it’s him or not but this one kinda does look like him. People are making a big deal out of the pictures though. He has not revealed or mentioned anything about his sexual orientation on the show so let’s just see what happens.
Whether he’s gay or not, this guy has some serious talent!
American Idol’s theme last night was Motown and it was great.
Smokey Robinson was the guest coach of the night and was there to give the top 10 finalists some pointers on how they should tackle their challenge. He was wearing some very casual clothes which I did not get but hey, I guess you can wear whatever you want if you’re a legend like him.
Rancho Penasquitos’ very own Adam Lambert has again won the hearts of the judges for his rendition of “Tracks of My Tears”.
I really thought this guy was going to belt it out Freddie Mercury style but he surprised everyone with a mellow approach.
Tuesday was Grand Ole Opry night on American Idol. I didn’t expect much from this theme because country usually brings out the worst on most of the singers on AI but I was pleasantly surprised at their performances.
One performance stood out: Adam Lambert’s version of “Ring of Fire”.
The song arrangement, complete with sitar sounds, was a little weird and left everyone confused. He definitely stayed true to his style.
Some people will love it - some people will hate it.
