Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta performs “Slow Ride” on American Idol Top 4 Rock week.
They both sounded really good and more “rock” compared to Danny and Kris who came out sounding like wannabes.
American Idol Top 4 contestant Allison Iraheta sings “Cry Baby” by Janis Joplin.
I thought it was a solid performance but coming out after an Adam Lambert performance will always be hard.
Randy did not like the performance. Simon said that the vocals were good but it was unoriginal.

She just celebrated her 17th birthday.
Jamie Foxx thought Allison was great and very impressed because of her age.
All the judges liked it. Simon liked it too but told Allison she might be in trouble this week. He said he lacked the commitment and the confidence to win the competition.
She did good tonight. Too bad she is having trouble connecting to the audience and viewers. She needs to stay one more week.

Randy and Kara did not like the arrangement but loved the vocals. Paula loved it. Simon thought it was brilliant.
I love Allison Iraheta. I think she has one of the best and unique vocals in this competition. Hopefully she gets the votes tonight. America save Allison!
We’re back with your top 7 on American Idol tonight and to my surprise - the guest coach is Quentin Tarantino! Apparantly he has a musical sense in him and want to direct the contestants since the theme of this week is “movie songs.”
The night started with Allison Iraheta singing “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” from the movie Armageddon.
I thought she did a great job. Simon and Paula loved it. The judges are splitting comments this week so they don’t run out of time and rob the next show.

This was one of my favorite performances of the night. She definitely is among the best this season. Too bad she does not have a lot of fans.
The judges were right about the Kelly Clarkson resemblance. Allison is the only active contestant who was born in the 90’s.
Go Allison!

Judge favorite Allison Iraheta performed “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” last night.
This was actually pretty good. She was the last to perform and of course the show was running out of time because of Paula Abdul’s babbling so she didn’t get that much comments from the judges.
For a 16-year old, Allison has some very powerful vocals. She was in the bottom 3 last week so hopefully this performance will encourage viewers to vote.
