Anoop Dawg sang “Dim All The Lights.”

Anoop came out sporting a stache. That last note was kind of rough.

Randy liked it. Kara thought it was a great song choice. Paula thought he looked great tonight and loved the pink shirt. Simon said the performance was mediocre and thought that was Anoop’s worst performance to date.

I thought it was pretty boring to be honest.

Kris Allen performed “She Works Hard For The Money.”

Kris Allen brought out the Taylor Guitar and the musical gang for his different take on a Donna Summer classic song.

Very good performance. The judges loved it. Simon said that it was the complete opposite to Lil’s “karaoke” performance.

Matt Giraud came out with “Staying Alive.”

A very appropriate song to sing at this stage of the show for Matt. He was saved by the judges last week so he is hoping this song would help him stay alive in the competition.

The fans definitely loved it. Randy did not like the song but thought his talent is there. Kara said he brought the groove back. Paula loved the song choice.  Simon, of course, did not like it and thought it was a bit desperate.

I was actually not that impressed. He’s still my favorite but I thought the performance was a bit rushed on some parts. People please save Matt Giraud!

American Idol Adam Lambert sings “If I Can’t Have You.”

This is his second disco song on stage so this time he did a completely different take.

He turned a disco song into a love song. Very mellow. It did not have a lot of the crazy vocals that Adam usually does.

Randy thinks Adam is a hot one tonight. Kara thought it was brilliant and called him a mix of Saturday Night Live and Clark Kent.  Paula babbled something about feeling the pain. Yes, she is weird. Simon loved it and thought it was so original and his vocals immaculate.

I liked it. Definitely miss Adam’s crazy vocals but it was a nice and sweet rendition.

Allison Iraheta sings “Hot Stuff.”

Randy and Kara did not like the arrangement but loved the vocals. Paula loved it. Simon thought it was brilliant.

I love Allison Iraheta. I think she has one of the best and unique vocals in this competition. Hopefully she gets the votes tonight. America save Allison!

Danny Gokey performed “September” by Earth Wind and Fire.

Randy, Kara, and Paula loved it. Simon liked it but said it lacked star power. I did not like it at all. I thought it was average and typical Danny. I think he does the same thing every week. He needs to change it up.

Tonight is Disco Night on American Idol. We still have all of your top 7 contestants because of last week’s judge’s save.

Lil Rounds started the night with “I’m Every Woman.”

This is a double death performance. It’s been known that whoever starts the show gets a higher risk of getting low audience votes so that right there is trouble for Lil. To add to the pain, the judges did not like the performance at all and Simon was quick to say that this might be the last time they see Lil.

Wow. I thought that was really harsh. Lil’s performance was not that bad. I thought it was decent. Didn’t really stand out but I don’t think it deserved Simon’s comments. You can definitely see her disappointment.
