Kris Allen performed “Falling Slowly.”

Vocally this was not the most impressive performance but this guys is just growing on me every week. This was my favorite performance of the night. This was very heartfelt rendition.

Danny Gokey sang “Endless Love.”

It was alright. Nothing special. I am really sort of losing interest with the Gokey. Simon was disappointed.

Matt performed “Have You Ever Loved A Woman”.

Matt is my favorite contestant but sadly he did not do too well last night. He gave the song a soulful twist but kind of ruined it for me. Hopefully he is still safe tomorrow night.

Golden boy Adam Lambert sang “Born to be Wild” on the American Idol Top 7 show. Quentin finds Adam exciting and called him the real deal! Adam Lambert rocked the house once again. Paula loved it. Simon liked it but not as much as last week’s Mad World. I thought his vocals were excellent as usual especially that scream towards the end. I don’t know how he survived that. I was with Simon on this one, I didn’t care much for all the screaming on this performance.

Anoop Desai sang “Everything I Do” on American Idol Top 7 show.

Quentin told him to give it a little bit more during rehearsals.

He changed it up a bit and I actually liked it. This is my second best performance of the night. Randy and Kara liked it as well. So far so good for Anoop Dawg!

We’re back with your top 7 on American Idol tonight and to my surprise - the guest coach is Quentin Tarantino! Apparantly he has a musical sense in him and want to direct the contestants since the theme of this week is “movie songs.”

The night started with Allison Iraheta singing “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” from the movie Armageddon.

I thought she did a great job. Simon and Paula loved it. The judges are splitting comments this week so they don’t run out of time and rob the next show.
