Flo Rida performed “Right Round”.

Pretty good performance.

The show started with Seacrest showing a photoshopped “baby” picture of Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. Weird.

Then Frankie Avalon appeared to sing the hit song of 1959 “Venus” which Ryan said is Cowell’s birth year (lie).

I am really happy that the group singing was not lip-synced but I am also sad that the performance was meh..

The group sangĀ  “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” a tribute to American Idol’s birth year of 2002.

After the lackluster group song, here are your bottom 3:

Anoop Desai
Scott MacIntyre
Lil Rounds

Scott MacIntyre was eliminated!

To be fair, his farewell song was not as bad as the night before. The judges were split in deciding whether to give him another chance but since the show was running out of time - Simon decided it was his time to go.

The oldest of the bunch, Danny Gokey sang a modified “Stand By Me”.

The judges once again pimping Gokey. I thought the arrangement was good but the performance was just mediocre. He only sounds good when he’s screaming - he’s going to run out of songs to scream.

American Idol heartthrob Kris Allen performed “All She Wants To Do Is Dance”.

He did performed with a guitar surrounded by the audience.

This guys is a good singer but I thought this song was pure nonsense. Not a good song choice and the judges agreed with me - yes, I actually called it first!

The women votes will get him through no problem.

Lil Rounds sang “What’s Love Got To Do With It”.

We finally know the story behind Lil’s name - who was named after her grandmother Lily! It is not a stage name after all.

She did an okay performance. This girl has been trying to win the judges all season with no luck.

The judges called her a third rate Tina Turner.

Anoop Dogg! He sang “True Colors”.

A brilliant song choice. I am glad this guy is back in the running. He really does shine more in the softer songs and I thought it showcased his great vocals.

Too bad he said something back to the judges last week but at least he apologized to Kara.

Scott MacIntyre singing “The Search is Over” behind a guitar.

I have see a lot of guitars and keyboards on this show this season.

Scott sported an electric guitar onstage and tried to “rock it” to show everyone that he is versatile.

I’m sorry but I hated the performance and I think he might be in trouble this week. I like this song but I couldn’t wait for his singing to be over. His jokes are also pretty bad.

Allison Iraheta singing the 1992 song “I Can’t Make You Love Me”.

This was one of my favorite performances of the night. She definitely is among the best this season. Too bad she does not have a lot of fans.

The judges were right about the Kelly Clarkson resemblance. Allison is the only active contestant who was born in the 90’s.

Go Allison!

My favorite out of all the “other” American Idol contestants.

Matt sang “Part Time Lover”.

He did good tonight. He listened to the judges and went back to his soulful side this time (not that there’s anything wrong with his performance last week - I actually thought it was quite good and I love the Fray.)

I am rooting for this guy!

American Idol Top 8 frontrunner Adam Lambert has done it again ladies and gentlemen. He sang “Mad World” and everyone was crazy about him.

He was the last performance of the night but definitely the best!

The show run out of time once again so the comments were cut short. In Adam’s case, only Simon Cowell got the chance to give his praises and I believe for the first time in the history of the show - got up and gave Adam a standing ovation.

We all know this guy’s going to win it all.
